1. PURPOSE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “GTC”) define the rights and obligations applicable between Maison Roëlle and any person browsing the Site or placing an order for products through it (the “Client”).
Before placing any order, the Client is required to read these GTC, which are available at all times on the Site and can be accessed and printed via a direct link at the bottom of the homepage.
Placing an order on the Site implies full knowledge of and unconditional acceptance of these GTC.
The contractual relationship between Maison Roëlle and the Client is governed exclusively by these GTC.
2. PRODUCTS
The products offered for sale by Maison Roëlle are those displayed on the Site at the time of consultation by the Client.
Maison Roëlle makes every effort to ensure that stock availability is updated in real time on the Site. However, in the event of a stock update error or order cancellation due to stock unavailability, Maison Roëlle shall not be held liable.
All content on the Site, including photographs, graphics, descriptions, information and characteristics illustrating and/or accompanying the products, is provided for informational purposes only and is not contractually binding, which the Client expressly acknowledges.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
The products offered by Maison Roëlle are described and priced on the Site prior to order placement.
Prices are displayed in euros (€), inclusive of French VAT and any other applicable taxes, but excluding shipping costs, order processing fees and packaging costs, which are indicated before final order validation.
The prices applicable are those in force at the time the order is placed. Maison Roëlle reserves the right to modify prices at any time, upward or downward.
Payment is made online via secure payment methods available through the Shopify checkout system. The Client provides their bank card details in order to authorize payment for the total amount of the order.
By submitting their payment information, the Client expressly authorizes Maison Roëlle to debit the corresponding amount.
The Client must pay the full amount of the order at the time of checkout. Amounts paid cannot be considered as deposits or down payments.
Maison Roëlle retains ownership of the products until full payment of the purchase price has been received.
4. USE OF THE SITE AND ORDERS
The Client must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
To place an order, the Client may create a customer account on the Site or place an order as a guest, in accordance with Shopify functionalities. The Client must provide accurate and complete personal information necessary for order processing and delivery.
The Client is solely responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, including payment details, and for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials. In the event of unauthorized use of their account, the Client must immediately notify Maison Roëlle.
The order process is as follows:
- selection of one or more products added to the shopping cart;
- entry or confirmation of personal and delivery information;
- review of the order summary, total price (including taxes and shipping), and acceptance of these GTC;
- validation of the order and payment via the secure Shopify checkout;
- receipt of an order confirmation email summarizing the order details and including a link to these GTC.
Maison Roëlle reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of a dispute with the Client relating to a previous order.
If a product becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the Client will be informed as soon as possible and may cancel the order and receive a refund.
5. DELIVERY
Orders are shipped to the delivery address provided at checkout. Neither Maison Roëlle nor the carrier can be held responsible for non-delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete address.
Orders are processed Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) within 48 hours after payment confirmation. Delivery times indicated by carriers are estimates and not contractual.
France (Metropolitan)
Free delivery for orders over €120:
- Colissimo / Tracked Letter: 2–4 business days – €6.99
- Colissimo pickup point: 3–5 business days – €4.99
- Chronopost Express: 1–2 business days – €14.99
Europe
- Colissimo: 2–12 business days from €7.50
- Chronopost (Germany, Belgium, Spain, Luxembourg, Netherlands): 3–5 business days, €5.10 to €9.50 depending on destination
International & Overseas Territories (DOM-TOM)
- Free delivery from €200 for DOM-TOM
- DOM-TOM: Colissimo 4–14 business days – €19.90
- International: Priority shipping – up to 21 business days – €24
Customs duties and local taxes are not included and remain the responsibility of the Client.
Failure to collect a parcel at a pickup point within the carrier’s holding period (10 days in France, 8 days in Europe) will result in the parcel being returned, restocked and refunded.
6. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
The Client has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the products to notify Maison Roëlle of their intention to withdraw, via the online return portal.
Returned products must be unused, unopened, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging, suitable for resale.
For hygiene and health protection reasons, products that have been opened, worn, damaged, soiled or incomplete cannot be returned.
Refunds will be processed within fourteen (14) days after receipt of the returned products or proof of shipment. Refunds are made using the original payment method.
Gift cards, store credit, loyalty rewards and promotional offers are non-refundable, non-transferable and reserved exclusively for members.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Client when returning from outside metropolitan France or when the return portal is unavailable.
7. LEGAL WARRANTIES
The Client must inspect products upon receipt.
Maison Roëlle is liable for legal warranties relating to defects in accordance with Articles 1641 to 1648 of the French Civil Code. The Client may request either cancellation of the sale or a price reduction.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Maison Roëlle strives to ensure uninterrupted access to the Site but cannot guarantee continuous availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates or events beyond its control.
Maison Roëlle shall not be held liable for indirect damages, site interruptions, bugs, third-party intrusions or misuse of the Site.
The choice and purchase of products remain the sole responsibility of the Client.
9. FORCE MAJEURE
Neither party shall be held liable for failure to perform obligations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, wars, governmental restrictions, network failures or transportation disruptions.
If such an event lasts more than three (3) months, either party may terminate the contract without compensation.
10. CLIENT’S BREACH OF OBLIGATIONS
In the event of a breach of these GTC by the Client, Maison Roëlle reserves the right to suspend or delete the Client’s account without prejudice to legal action.
11. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION
Maison Roëlle collects personal data when accounts are created and orders are placed. This data is necessary for order processing and customer management.
In accordance with applicable data protection laws, the Client has the right to access, rectify and delete their personal data by contacting:

12. MODIFICATION AND VALIDITY OF THE GTC
Maison Roëlle reserves the right to modify these GTC at any time. Updated versions will be published on the Site and apply only to orders placed after publication.
The GTC are valid for an unlimited duration.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Site (texts, images, logos, videos, databases) is the exclusive property of Maison Roëlle and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization is strictly prohibited.
14. GOVERNING LAW – DISPUTES
These GTC are governed by French law.
