about MAISON ROËLLE
intention
MAISON ROËLLE was created from a simple conviction:
what we wear closest to the body should be considered, clean, and intentional.
Underwear is not an afterthought.
It is a constant layer — in contact with the skin, every day.
What touches the body deserves care and restraint.
What began as a desire to simplify became a practice:
fewer materials, fewer interventions, fewer compromises.
what we make
We design essential pieces meant to be worn often and kept for a long time.
Each piece begins with the same question:
what does the body need here?
Comfort without excess.
Support without force.
Materials that allow the body to breathe, move, and rest.
Our designs rely on cut and balance rather than heavy structure.
When stretch is necessary, we limit blends to 10% elastane — only where function requires it.
Nothing unnecessary.
Nothing hidden.
materials
Our starting point is cotton.
Natural, breathable, and compatible with the body in a way synthetics are not.
No polyester.
No nylon.
No unnecessary blends.
We consider fabric a second skin — selected for softness, durability, and breathability, and finished without harsh chemical treatments.
how we work: drops
We work in drops, by choice.
Not to create urgency,
but to stay focused, independent, and intentional.
Producing in drops allows us to make limited quantities, avoid excess stock, and keep decisions close to the brand.
Nothing is rushed.
Nothing is made “just in case”.
Some pieces may return.
Others are released once.
When a drop closes, it closes.
standards
- cotton as our starting point
- minimal blends, only when function requires it
- no polyester, nylon, or acrylic
- low-impact dyes and reduced chemical treatments
- ethically produced with trusted partners
- small, considered batches released in drops
We believe limits are design choices.
a note
MAISON ROËLLE is shaped over time — through wear, feedback, and shared attention.
It is not finished.
And it is not built alone.
Growing slowly is a decision.
Some things are worth waiting for.
